I’m very excited to announce that, after a lot of encouragement from friends, family, and peers, I’ve finally agreed to start selling prints of my work.
I settled on Fine Art America as my print shop of choice. I’ve ordered prints from them, and can vouch for their quality. I really like the level of customization they offer. So many different ways to frame and wrap a photo, that you’re sure to find something that will work in your home work workspace.

I finally did it. I jumped on the drone bandwagon and purchased a shiny new DJI Mavic Pro. Haven’t had much time to play with it yet, as the weather has been bad, but did manage to get this boring shot of my suburban neighborhood yesterday.
You’ll definitely be seeing more drone shots from me as the weather improves.
My annual “best of” post this year is going to look very themey (not a word). Those themes are vineyards and Bowling Ball Beach (a scene I’m completely fascinated with). As my interest in wine culture grows, I’ve decided to spin off most of my future wine-related posts to a new blog, which will be coming soon. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this year’s top picks.
As I prepare my annual “best of” post for the year, where I post my 9 favorites from each year on New Years Even, I noticed quickly that 3 of my top 9 were from Bowling Ball Beach near Mendocino, CA. This year my best shot of the year came just a few weeks before the year ended, which is very rare. It’s a long exposure shot on my new Fuji X-T2 using a 6-stop neutral density filter.
Some heavily processed shots from the vineyards of one of my favorite wineries in Amador County.
I saw the sunset on my way home from work tonight, and couldn’t resist the urge to head out to the country to shoot.
Making the best of a dreary day at Bodega Bay.
Lovely morning in Old Town taking family photos for a friend from work. Also walked away with a few shots for myself.
I’m so excited to be living in California! With the exception of one shot from Maui (which happens to be my favorite photo of all time), all my favorites were captured in California. Even one from a grocery store with my iPhone.
Spent the weekend with some fantastic friends. Grabbed a few shots of Emerald Bay while we were there.
